Social Security Law recognises a Participant may experience circumstances that make it unreasonable for them to continue participating in ParentsNext for a period. This Guideline sets out the Exemptions available to Compulsory Participants and Providers’ requirements in granting Exemptions consistent with Social Security Law.
This Guideline explains:
- Providers’ requirements when considering, granting and documenting Exemptions
- the circumstances in which a Participant may be granted an Exemption
- Providers’ requirements during and after a Participant’s Suspension period.
