Direct Registration

This Guideline helps Transition to Work Providers identify whether a young person is eligible for Direct Registration into the Transition to Work Service and provides details of the requirements for Direct Registration of eligible young people.

Eligible young people may seek to participate in Transition to Work without going to the Department of Human Services (DHS) and can Directly Register with a Transition to Work Provider. Transition to Work Providers will also actively recruit young people. The relevant Transition to Work Provider is responsible for determining a young person’s eligibility for Direct Registration and registering that person for Services.
