142114 Hair or Beauty Salon Manager

Please outline the evidence or data that would support these occupations being added to the STSOL.

I came Australia in 2013 and try to finish diploma and cert 4 of Hair and Beauty Salon Manager. During 4 years, I tiedy to work hard and study hard and pay tax for Australian. When I prepare to apply for 457 visa, Australian Government said that they will abolish 457 visa on 18/4/2017. Then, my employer ask me to help her although this occupation is on STSOL now and can not go to PR. Then I tried to apply 457 visa in June 2017. Now DIBP said that this occupation will be removed from STSOL in January 2018. It means my 457 will be cancelled if nomination stage was not finalized.

I feel like this country do not allowed me to stay after I spent 5 years for studying and working. It is terrible for a migrant like me. I hope that DIBP should keep this occupation stay in STSOL or at the least, give the grandfathering to all 457 applicants who applied their visa before Junuary 2018. Because if my 457 visa will be cancelled, I have to leave this country although I really love Australia and Aussie people who always welcome migrants. If my wish is come true, I will try my best to give a hand for development of Hair and Beauty in Australia.
