Please outline the evidence or data that would support these occupations being added to the MLTSSL.

I believe that Recruitment Consultants should be added to the MLTSSL as the majority of consultants in Australia are from overseas as it is not a job that Australians want to do. A number of recruitment businesses I have dealt with have had problems recruiting Australians and therefore have had no choice but to take people on visas. I myself have moved across to Australia on a 457 visa with a view to gain permanent residency. I left everything behind and set up a new life across here which wasn't easy or cheap and I feel it is completely unfair that I would have to go home due to these changes when I was put on the visa with the rules and regulations already in place. I would have to move home and start my life again and lose everything I have built across in Sydney. This is my home now, I pay tax, i rent a home, i pay my bills and I want this to be where my family grows up. I think that if you remove consultants from the list you will find a massive problem within the industry. Recruitment is a multi billion dollar industry in Australia and companies rely on our skills and expertise to provide them with the best people to work for them. Recruitment is not an easy job and it is not a particularly well paid job either unless you are very good at what you do therefore Australians are not interested in the low salary base. If you take this away from overseas individuals you will finish recruitment firms and cause a lot of problems for a lot of people.
